As for formal training in logic, you could say that I've received my education
at the school of reading Allen's emails. ;-) Other than that I am an engineer
and have some background with programming and as such am used to breaking
things down into smaller logical steps, you know, if-then-else, do while,
etc.... But that's it, no formal training.

Also, do you have some training in, or exposure to, formal logic? Some of your
post suggests that you do, which, if true, puts me at something of a
