It depends on your drive and maybe the CDVDBurn config. Have you created
your own driver definition file for your specific drive, or are you
relying in the defaults?

I have a version from 2010, but although this scans for and finds my
drive, it then refuses to burn a disc. I'm not sure if this is because I
need to alter some settings or if it can't work for some other reason.
We won't know unless we try a few things.
There is a new test version currently circulating amongst selected
testers with an aim to properly support Titanium S-ATA as well as
ARMv8 (Pi3). If you (or anyone) want to have a go testing, mail me.
