Create a new list

Please note our requirements:

  1. If you think we're here to give you email addresses, make sure you know an adult who will help you cross streets. DO NOT ASK US FOR EMAIL ADDRESSES.
  2. A list moderator must be appointed below, and we must have his/her email address. This must be an account that you're able to send and receive email from.
  3. ALL LISTS must BE TECHNOLOGY-RELATED. Read about this policy.
  4. Lists are not to be used to discuss anything illegal or questionable, such as SPAM, pornography, exploitation of networked computing devices, pirated software, etc. The acceptability of all list material is subject to FreeLists' approval; our word is final. Any list traffic discussing any unacceptable material (at the discretion of FreeLists) will result in immediate removal of the list in question.
  5. Any abuse, at the discretion of FreeLists, of server or network resources will result in removal of all lists as well as full legal action as allowed for by law.
  6. You must have explicit consent of the owner of any email address(es) you subscribe to any lists hosted at FreeLists. You may not purchase lists of "opt-in" addresses from third-party vendors -- they're not legit, and any company selling them as such is lying.
  7. FreeLists' services come without any warranty, express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. In other words, it's free/Free/FREE, so you can't complain too loudly. We do, however, try our best to continue our tradition of being the best mailing list provider available.
  8. I understand that this form is intended to create a new list, NOT to subscribe to an existing list and NOT to ask for help with my VCR or other such nonsense.
  9. I have read and agree to the above terms , and agree that if I ask FreeLists for email addresses or send SPAM using their resources, they have permission to inflict severe pain on me with large, blunt objects.


Create a New Mailing List: Step 1

Mailing list name. This becomes the email address that subscribers will send their posts to. It should be no more than 15 characters: @freelists.org
