Did you ever do what I said about doing a search for files created/modified on that day, and have you looked for any driver cleaner programs? Details are in one of my other posts on this. If you don't have them, look in the archives at the link in the footer. -Clint God Bless Clint Hamilton, Owner http://www.OrpheusComputing.com http://www.ComputersCustomBuilt.com ----- Original Message ----- From: "David Grossman" Just wanted to touch base here. I have been working with Diana at HP support for days now, with back-and-forth email. So far, I have not been able to completely remove the existing HP drivers. Some items still show up in Control Panel (and Add/Remove doesn't do anything). I downloaded and used the Windows Cleanup Utility. Nothing from HP shows up there any more, yet there are still HP folders in c:\Program Files. I suppose I could delete those folders, but that would not remove any driver detritus hanging around in the Registry. Diana and I will probably be working on this for several more days. Sigh.
