In & of itself, the Crawler toolbar is not classified as malware.  It 
provides a number of useful functions that some folks claim are wonderful. 
However, the installation does collect certain data to be sent back to the 
maker and that concerns other users who prefer to remain more anonymous. 
So, here are a few sites for you to read to see if it's something you want 
to keep or remove.

Personally, I don't allow ANY toolbar that I didn't specifically download 
myself (and I rarely do that, either).  I was surprised to hear that it came 
bundled with SIW, but I suppose even free utility tool maker's have to eat.
