how do I give myself the optin for more, dont see that if I choose "system 
allowed" option.

Can I not just type in what I want?

Ok, change it to "Windows Controlled" or however that's worded.  It will set
the usual amount to the same size as the amount of RAM you have installed
(1024MB), but give itself the option to increase that if you abuse it.
