I just submitted Secret Lives by Diane Chamberlain. It's in .rtf format. The
synopsis is below.

Eden Riley was a young child when her mother, Katherine Swift, a renowned
children's book author, died. Her memories of her mother are vague. Now, as

Oscar award winning actress, Eden decides to make a film about her mother's
life. She returns to her mother's childhood home, Lynch Hollow, where she

more than she bargained for.
Her uncle Kyle presents her with the journals her mother had kept.
Powerfully written, these journals reveal Kyle and Katherine's life
together. As Katherine
grew into a young woman, her fear of other people and of being separated
from her home leave her isolated, with Kyle as her only link to the outside
world.
After Katherine's death, Kyle and his wife raised Eden, whose rebellious
adolescence tested the boundaries of their love for her. A painful price is
