Hi, all. Awhile ago, Aimee by Mary Beth Miller was submitted to the collection. However, when I validated it, I found that the scan was quite poor, and would take less time to rescan than to correct and clean up. So, here is a rescan of the book. The synopsis is below. Page breaks are protected. Common scannos and headers are removed. My best friend is dead, and everyone thinks I killed her. It's hard to act normal when you're accused of murder and no one believes you didn't do it. Not my parents. That would be unforgivable-to support your daughter when she's on trial for murder. Not my friends. They didn't even come to the trial, except when they had to testify So I stand alone. I stand without Aimee because she couldn't stand with me. And just what did I get out of supposedly helping her die? I'm cut off from my best friend forever. She took away my other friends, and my family can't even face me. I didn't ever think it could happen. Friends don't commit suicide. They just don't die. Shannon I am only one; but still I am one. I cannot do everything, but still I can do something. And because I cannot do everything, I will not refuse to do the something I can do. - Everett Edward Hale, 1822 - 1909 To unsubscribe from this list send a blank Email to bksvol-discuss-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx put the word 'unsubscribe' by itself in the subject line.
