Evil is always luring around the corner, sure it doesn't mean that you should
hide and not experience life but that you have to use caution when you are
opening a door to the possibility of an unknown menace.

I have always had problems with blindly accepting cookies and the fact that
they are professed as safe in this class bothered me. I don't let just anyone
in my door and I apply this on my Internet connection. I set my security high
enough that I am prompted about cookies and about any changes to my registry.
You would be amazed how effective this is in virus prevention. For a living, I
remove viruses from other people's computers and you would be amazed at how
much "junk" (low to moderate risks) and "harmful" (high risk) data is collected
by one hour of surfing.

"If a man does not keep pace with his companions,
perhaps it is because he hears a different drummer.
Let him step to the music which he hears,
               however measured or far away."
Henry David Thoreau, Walden, Conclusion, 1854

         "Have patience with all things,
but chiefly have patience with yourself.
Do not lose courage in considering
           your own imperfections
but instantly set about remedying them -
every day begin the task anew."
Saint Francis de Sales French saint & bishop of Geneva (1567 - 1622)
