As it should be. My main beef about the DTV announcement in PSAs has
been that they never ever talk about what matters most. You hear about
the coupons and the boxes, which is simple, but never any hints about
how to make reception work.
How about something as trivial as, "If you don't achieve instant
success, try moving the antenna closer to a window"? Or, "Make sure you
get good reception of analog channels 14 and above in analog, because
most digital stations are now in this UHF band"?
Only the most trivial stuff ever gets announced in the PSAs, I guess I'm
trying to say. Never what really matters most.
