The meter was originally designed for Ilfo/Cibachrome printing. Mine is marked 28, I suspect that most of them have this number. It is about right for Iford and Kodak VC paper for about a 20 second exposure, at least on my enlarger. I originally calibrated the dial to allow using other times and stops and then realized I could use it as a densitometer over its range of sensitivity. Its a very useful meter despite being quite cheap.
