So, just how will the Qualcomm channel 55 operation or verizon or sprint
offering video clips COMPETE with my watching ER or the KNSD news at 11?
You are slimy and clueless. Competing technically (offering bits for $)
does not "compete" with free broadcasting. Offering bits -- distribution --
does not compete with original content: they will need to create their own
compelling content, or license the content created by others.
Fox, with less effective distribution than any other network, matches or
leads other networks with superior distribution. It's the content, dummy!
Content is king. Until you START to recognize that, you will remain
clueless.
Tom Barry has a clue here: "R" rated programming. I'd even offer up "X"
and "higher" rated programming. Either make it yourself, or license from
better creators.
People don't watch bits or distribution; they watch the most interesting
content available to them at that moment, with an emphasis on new
programming.
