Buy whatever is cheap. The Motorola seems to work just fine.


The problem is not the receiver .. it is the antenna(s). Around
here you simply can't find a position that will get all stations
with a commercial antenna. Currently you can get all you
actually need with a Winegard or Channelmaster quad bowtie
**with the reflector removed**, but that will likely change
when a new PBS station comes on.

The problem is not multipath, it is simple field strength
in the null of a bi-directional figure eight pattern.


Mr. Shutt ... you seem to have some bee in your bonnet
that keeps telling you that multipath is a problem. For
the vast majority of people, it simply is no problem.
