Not really. The only additional feature the Aussie
boxes have that US boxes should also have is HD
capability. All the other differences are still there,
meaning that the US box would be unique.

Aha. That must be why you were complaining so bitterly
about the dual conversion tuners in the first
generation of Freeview STBs.
