Hi All,
I hope you're all well, all the residents are fine, I have been the nurse on
the floor today, my sickness for the staff has increased with non specific
illnesses, but nothing to be alarmed at.
We have had a good day, we have had sherry morning for all floors, Film club,
on nursing we have had music and singing, puzzles and arts and crafts, on the
dementia we have had pampering sessions and hand massage and DVD best of Andrea
Rieu, everyone has had
a quite relaxing day, we have been pushing fluids as always for them all.
Some relatives have come into reception and have started the ball rolling with
checks, as stated the other day, the checks have been relaxed in view of the
current situation, we are still fully staffed, but I will use the volunteers to
take some relief from
the staff as they have been picking up extra hours, the volunteers can also do
activities etc. I have drawn up a disclaimer to stipulate that the volunteers
will be doing as we are and only going from to here and their home.
For dinner we have had Chicken and mushroom pasta bake, bananas and custard and
leak and potato soup and ham, egg & chips for tea, and yogurt, I have raided
the shop for the sweets for them also.
