Hi All,
I hope you're all OK still, they have relaxing day, Annette has been in and
doing cleaning and 1:1s, some of the residents have been out in the garden.
We are still symptom free of COVID. Tommorow will be 7 days so we can get the
residents out of isolation from they're rooms, but we will still need to water
PPE throughout.
For lunch we have had pork casserole and lemon sponge with custard, for tea
they have had soup and sandwiches, macoronni chesese and fruit salad with cream.
It has been Alex's birthday today (team leader on the residential unit). We got
her flowers and cake.
And I have some bad news about Margaret, (carer on the nursing floor). She
found out yesterday that her dad died of COVID, in hospital in Poland, he was
82, he was normally fit and healthy... Ironically, she was actually meant to be
out there now for 3 weeks
to celebrate Easter, but her flights got cancelled. She has somehow managed to
come to work today, I have spoke to her and she said she is better off at work
to take her mind of things, they're is nothing she can do from here and has had
leave everything to
be organised by her son. I also think the funeral arrangements are more strict
than ours. I have asked her permission to tell you all as I know you care for
her and would like to know, which she agreed.
