Hi All,
I hope you're all ok, we are fine here, one of my lady residents on the
dementia unit has been admitted to MKGH with a chest infection, they are
automatically testing for COVID 19, fingers crossed she will be ok.
We have had a good day, for lunch we have had toad in the hole, with homemade
rice pudding and jam and for tea we have had jacket potato, coleslaw and cheese
and mushroom soup and sandwiches & for pudding ice-cream and yogurt.
Activities wise we have had keep fit and bingo this was for both the nursing
and residential floors and on dementia Tina has been enjoying 1:1 with the
residents with tea and cake and chatting above their life history's.
The district nursing team have been in contact with us, as their resources are
becoming stretched, we may have to deliver nursing care for the residential
residents, (administering insulin, wound care) this is not an issue with us as
we did it when we had the
norovirus outbreak.
