Hi All,

I hope you're all well, again apologies for not sending an update yesterday, My
Little Monty died at home with me, it was his 17th Birthday too.. he was a huge
part of the home, and has been in many times the residents loved him, he will
be sadly missed, hes been there in my life through my 20s, 30s, and now 40s,
and knows many secrets, he was my best friend. One of the relatives has put me
in touch with a dignified cremation, a company called Trusted Friends in Nash,
where he is at present in a little log cabin on a farm.

The communications systems have been down toady, (phone lines, internet and
printer etc) The Call out arrived at 3pm and it was not fixed till 3.40pm, the
fault was one of the washing machines which tripped apparently and now needs
fixing.

We lost another gentleman on the dementia unit who was on EOL with who had a
cough and temp, again not tested. All residents temperatures are now being
checked we still have 1 lady on the nursing floor who has a temperature and
another lady with a dry throat and cough, no other temperatures are reported.

We have new guidance that came out yesterday, we now have to wear masks
throughout the home, not just for those in isolation and also face shields.

We have had a productive day with the residents, all residents have had they're
nails done and painted, they have been in the garden this afternoon for tea, (I
have attached some pictures), also a man in a old american police car arrived
at the home and was playing old music, so we took the residents to the door and
they had a sing-a-long, we have also been facetiming yourselves.

For dinner, we have had giant sausage roll and veg and for pudding jam
roly-poly and custard, for tea, we have had jacket potato and coronation
chicken, sandwiches, and mushroom soup and Eaton mess.

Please look after yourselves and stay save, I am just getting through all of my
emails, so will reply to you all soon.
