Hi All,
I hope you're all still well, all the residents are all still fit and well
including the staff. It has been rather busy trying to accommodate staffing
needs, but we have done it and the home is all still covered.
Activities wise, we have had keep fit and swan Lake film on, on the residential
unit, crosswords and puzzles and knitting on nursing floor including 1:1s, on
dementia we have had pampering sessions and 1:1 times and music playing
throughout the day. I will
get some more pictures when I'm a little less busy.
Annette has put out to the local community and schools, for rainbows to be
painted for us and we are then displaying them in the windows, we have also
done this with the residents also and have 9 rainbows so far. Unfortunately we
have cancelled the outings
following government advice and also we did have scheduled flower arranging
which we have also cancelled as we source these flowers normally from the local
supermarket.
I have attached the menu for today, on a positive a very kind person has set up
Skpye on the homes ipad, I will forward details tomorrow with allocated time
slots.
