Because there were 4 proposed.  Various people presumably had reasons for
them.  What I want to see (and include in the doc) is use cases.  If we can
justify the *need* for something based on legitimate use cases, it is
legitimate.  If it is all conjecture and "would be nice" then we have to
question the legitimacy.

Ditto.  I tried to poke holes in the various formats and tried to invent use
cases, but I haven't had much luck stirring any other input..
