Hi Laura Ann,
Yes, page breaks should be automatically inserted based on your setting for two
pages or one page scanning. If you're in one page mode, the text recognized is
placed on a single page, otherwise the program attempts to find the divider
between the two pages and generates two pages based on its findings.
Don't worry if you scan two pages but one is blank, Kurzweil should put in an
extra page. The only thing you might need to watch is whether the blank page
comes before or after the page with text.

how you explained what is happening I can tell that you already understand page
breaks quite well. To know where to insert them, you'd want to look at the
header. Is there a line break between the book's page numbers and the headers
with the title and author? If not, you can just insert the page breaks before
the headers by pressing ctrl-enter in Microsoft Word.

Bookshare as well as for other purposes, so getting a handle on it will go
beyond just helping you with this book.
