Lady pulls over from a long drive to take a nap. Rest stop is part of a
route where runners are running in an event. Runner taps on the window and
asks the Lady what time is it? Lady says it's 10:00. Another runner asks
what time is it, Lady says it's 10:03. After a few more taps by runners on
the window, Lady writes on a cardboard "I don't know what time it is" A
few minutes later, tap tap tap on the window. Lady says to the runner,
"can't you read"? Runner says I can read fine mam, by the way, it's
10:15.
Moral: we can put a twist in everything. It's how we say it and how we
interpret.

and made this another fun evening. As your toastmaster, I had a fantastic

Colette as our GE provided great feedback. All the speakers were amazing.
We had 16 members and 2 guests.

lot of members of our toastmasters club. That warm feeling you have inside
when you come to the meeting? It's not because the room is hot. . it's
