Toastmasters meeting at the Moo G. Moon Education Center
Greetings Fellow Toastmasters
The club inducted Russ Agnew as a new member. Phil Poplawski told the
group that Russ was ready to join the group last week. Russ had visited
other toastmasters clubs and he felt our club was the best fit for him.

Toastmasters for the evening was Adam Veseley. The theme for the evening
was Hollywood Movies. Adam started the evening telling everyone that we
were going to study Hamlet and then he said he was kidding. (Dang, I was
hoping to learn more about Hamlet).

All Speakers were excellent. Unfortunately not everyone can win. The
ribbon winner was Marieta Ferrington. Congratulations Marieta. I think
you won the speech when you transitioned from career to motherhood during
your speech. Well done!

Robin McIntosh was our general evaluator. Quote from Robin - Only way we

because no one evaluates the general evaluator. Excellence and Humor was
Robin.
Adam Veseley did a wonderful job as Host and Toastmaster. He kept everyone
entertained with Hollywood movies and everyone was engaged. The night's
agenda was packed. Adam kept the night moving along nicely. He was
efficient and organized. We had a new member inducted. There were four
speakers and four evaluators. The two hours went by fast. We had 24
people in attendance. 19 members, one new member and four guests. We
started on time and we ended on time. I'm sorry if you missed out because
you should've been there.
