cold winter. Go gather firewood. A few weeks before winter, the modern
Indian chief is asked by his village people again. . is it going to be a
cold winter? The modern Indian chief again says yes, it's going to be a
very cold winter. Go gather firewood. But the modern Indian chief is not
like his ancestors and was not able to forecast the weather so he calls his
friend at the weather station and asks if it's going to be a cold winter.
The friend at the weather stations confirms that yes, it's going to be a
very cold winter. The modern Indian chief is curious and asks how can you
be so sure? The friend at the weather station responds, we have satellite
stations and it shows all these Indians gathering firewood. . it's going to
be a very cold winter.

Nine years with officer roles. Believing in what I'm doing and it's fun.
Continue to welcome visitors. Laid back approach to membership. Hear that

fun. Work together to achieve new goals. Work to make everything better.

Love the challenge. Speaking for Kathy - Robin McIntosh. First time being
nervous because I don't want to be the one to cause her the election.
Difference between factual and braggadocios. Up here with one wing. Kathy
was VP of Education in 2011. President in 2012 and only for 6 months but
she didn't want to show off. Unpretentious and humble. 6 months as a
mentor. Last year with a renewed sense of purpose. Instructor at TLI.
Has been area director and a golfing partner.

1. Colette Smith: Crashing through six mail boxes. Trees jumped out in
front of me. Car is damaged. There was a dog.
2. Marieta Ferrington: Witness.
Passenger in the car. Colette was talking about how to give inspiring
speeches. Dog is fine.
3. Luis Estrada: Reporter.
My report sees a car, mail boxes and trees. They were on their cell
phones. Dog was a golden lab puppy. Branches leaning from where the trees
were hit. Very confusing.
4. Dirk Kittredge: Resident of Mail Box.
Sittin on da porch drinkin Mil La Hi Lite. 100mph, how? Ah most takes ma
kids out. Took out da mail box. Wooomon is just crazed. That's all eye
know.
5. Patti Apple: Farmer, Owner of Grove.
Planing season. Car came down really fast. Went through vegetable
garden. Now it's all destroyed. It's raining. Can't plant seeds when
it's raining This women ruined my plants.
6. Ray Pezolt: Watch Commander.
I did see it all. Saw this car screaming down the street. Saw this
coyote, not a stinking lab. She decided to take out the tree. Trees are
beautiful. Mail boxes are government property, I don't care about that.
7. Robin McIntosh: Tow Truck Operator.
US postal service not the most cherished entity. Crime is six mail boxes
murdered. Trees can grow back. Car can be towed. Mail boxes will never
be the same again. (cries with one wing).
8. Shirley Eaves: Animal Control Officer.
No puppy in sight. I did witness a coyote, a pregnant coyote. Colette
swerved to miss the coyote.
9. Jennifer Dunne: Prosecuting Attorney.
License to drive. DMV manual to watch periphery. Dog or coyote with no
leash. Under obligation to watch these things.
10. Jonathan Kolber: Defense Attorney.
Outstanding citizen. Colette was attempting to lead men tee in
toastmasters. Other incidence with moose hitting car.
11. Luke Vesely: Judge.
I find you guilty. Sentence to 24 hours of community service. Fix broken
mail boxes and fix trees.

Lori High on meeting. Meeting was a lot of fun. Open forum. Jennifer did
not include clicking ahs and ums. Patti, no one used WOD. Ray, no
introduction - Katelynn's job to come up with one. Katelynn with a very

was funny. (thank you).
Ribbon winner for Table Topics: Jonathan Kolber. (Congratulations).
There were 16 members in attendance. No guests. It was a different
meeting because it was election night but it was still. .so much fun.
Thank you to all the past officers. Job well done. Congratulations to the
new officers. (we're all going to have a lot to live up to). It just
dawned on me I'm the only officer returning and repeating his role. I
wonder how that happened. Like I said in the beginning, the more we
change, the more we stay the same. And I'm referencing change to
challenges and constantly improving. And I'm referencing same to
excellence. The more we are challenged and continue to improve, the more
excellent we become. This in a nutshell is what toastmasters is all
about. I am honored to be your secretary for another term. Thank you for
the opportunity to serve. Until next week, I am your humble secretary.
