What's it's like to work at the help desk. IBM North Region help desk.
Over 140 unsolved problems. Within six months, got it down to zero.
Listen under, listen around and listen through.
Speaker #2. Shirley Eaves. MOM, Maker of Me.
Dd not apply or interview for the job. pro Bono position. Mother before
manager. Learn time management, multitask, handle clients, focus, and how
to read people's faces.
Speaker #3. Lori High. Just Another Day at the ER.
Adult student. School, home work, studying. 12 year old son - You don't
have to do ALL the homework. Ambulance ride and staging - boring.
Hospital clinical more exciting. Rocking baby from shaken baby syndrome.
Will not let opportunity pass to help a child. First action.
Speaker #4. Johnathan Kolber. Strangest Job I've Ever Had.
Co-founded Hi Tech start up. End was near. Radio Art Bell interviews Dr.
Steve Grier. Insane or truth? Tell story to ape. Mutual respect really
matters in business.
Speaker #5. Ray Pezolt. Transported prisoners. Female inmate complaint,
the driver of the van and sexual assault. Court, tape. Dismissed
deposition. Words of Ronald Reagan, Trust but definitely verify.
Speaker #6. Katelynn Stoll. How mosquitoes prepare me for the future.
Job in college inspired me. Different sites. Gather mosquitoes, freeze
them in dry ice and identify them. Prepare reports. Manure formula as
bait.

San Francisco to New York. Equal to 117 marathons in 52.5 days, breaking
the Masters and Grand Masters record.

Bill). He was hilarious AND he won the ribbon for Table Topics.

Congratulations to the ribbon winners. Bill Farrand made a comment on
Dirk's black velvet shirt and Jennifer's sparkling blouse top. Together,
we had Liberace. I'm also curious as to how long it took Dirk to select a
bot tie to match his black velvet shirt. He was well dressed. Not to be
outdone, Jennifer's blouse was beautiful. We had 15 members and no
guests. Dirk as toastmaster is always a special event and on this night,
he did not disappoint. All the speeches were really amazing. Everyone
deserved to win. And the table topics questions were consistent with the
theme of the evening and they were all great questions. A lot of thought
was put into the questions. Excellent job Adam!. It was another fun
night. It was another awesome meeting. It was another night if you missed
it, you should've been there.
