There is more here--we have found for some time now that regular NTSC 
programs on cable TV look like crap on any HD TV and HDTV look great.
Don't know why this is other than these HDTV  sets are built to show HDTV 
and they don't much care what SD TV looks like!   Also may be that cable TV 
has looked bad for some time and HD sets just display this better!
