I've never seen a STB that will produce a decent ntsc picture without
switching inputs on the tv--and I would argue that the tvs tuner can
produce
a better picture----never found that to be true EXCEPT in the case of an
off
air antenna. STB composite outputs are without exception (when
available
without having to switch outputs in menu) better than their own
conversion
of ntsc. There may be an exception but I have yet to see one--and I see
alot.
