I figured out where I went wrong. I selected the Intel Quad Core
configurator, but you had used the Core 2 DDR3 configurator. Silly me.

Same build as I did before, but with the DDR3 mobo & RAM now comes to
$1,542.00
The monitor I chose was the ASUS 22", just in case you're curious. the
other one is a no-name brand and I don't like surprises. I checked out the
ASUS model at Newegg.com and liked the reviews it's getting from real users.
I suggest you do the same for any computer parts you decide to buy.
