You know, even the cheapest built system there is pretty good. And, if you're looking for a machine for gaming and multimedia, just configure a budget-priced system, and then just up the video card, and make sure the memory is at least 2 gigs. As for the OS, I believe you can still purchase OEM copies of it on Newegg.com and TigerDirect.com. ---Troth ________________________________ From: cristy <poppy0206@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> To: pctechtalk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Sent: Tuesday, March 3, 2009 9:33:55 PM Subject: -=PCTechTalk=- Re: custom built computer Thanks Don, I checked it out and will again. Wow, so many options to choose from though, I may have a few questions on the essentials vs. a little more that I may want on some options. I am wondering if I can get one that is not so heavy weight wise that can still have alot of power and zip to it. I pretty much feel I will be needing the same things one would look for in a gaming machine since I will be so multimedia oriented with it. I also noticed the OS did nto come with it by the time I added up options wow ..lol...I will have to go through and ask some questions on what I would or would not need for what I am looking for. christy ----- Original Message ----- From: "dsw32952" <dsw32952@xxxxxxxxx> To: <pctechtalk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Sunday, March 01, 2009 2:37 PM Subject: -=PCTechTalk=- Re: custom built computer > www.ibuypower.com may be an option for a custom built computer.
