However, I don't know that education via warnings such as this are particularly effective. Not everyone is altruistic by nature, and may not realize that their loosey-goosey handling of their own dogs are un-training your dog, and putting you at risk. I hadnt intended it to be primarily threatening but to let folks know that there is a guide team in the neighborhood and that loose dogs can and will jeopardize my safety. I do tend to forget that altruism is a lost art.. wry grin.. funnny you should say that as I had a personality profile done a few yrs ago that pointed out something similar,, grin.. When I get it put together, how about I post it to the list for review? As someone whose safety is at risk, I tend to want to put all the quadrants into play.. My thought was to open with an introduction and some basic sd info as well as to outline later exactly what can happen to both me, the owners and their dogs if they repeatedly allow their dogs to endanger my safety. Since my neighborhood is very low income and has a large population of spanish speaking people, I also need to get it translated into spanish. Ok another question. I live alone. Ok, I do have 5 dogs, but 2 are deaf and one is very diabled due to bone growth damage. Do you think publicizing the information about us would be a safety risk?
