I fail to see your point, Omar. The Invasion of Israel by the Arabs
occurred one month earlier in May of 1948 -- May 15th. This matter was
discussed by Selbourne in the first passage by him that I quoted.

this rather conservative estimate, around 250 000
Palestinians became refugees by June 1948:
