Oliver

I take it the mock-up is http://plonetest.haiku-os.org/.

Other the the problem with the fonts all I would have is the Welcome.

For me Contact About FAQS Downloads Status Documentation Development and perhaps News is all I feel you need. Obviously these feed from there. From a small welcome message and thats it on the first page. Quite frankly if someone has got to here then they haved done so at the own volition eg they are interested. When I see a screen with information everywhere I turn off as I cant be bothered reading all the info.

Following with interest

Regards
Nifty

Hi Nifty,

I am probably in the category your aiming at. I agree with Axel.

Please excuse me butting in but I have been following developments with
interest and cant hold back any longer.

I am probably the person you are looking at.. the End User. When I open any
site I am turned off if it is cluttered , unorganised or trying to convey
the contents of a book on the first page.

So what do you make of the mockup? Do you find it too cluttered and/or
unorganized? Are you missing information (categories, links) that you would
expect to find on the front page, but which aren't there?
Can you name excess items?

Any input would highly be appreciated.

cheers,
Oliver
