Yes Polos and Chambray. I use double layer heavy cutaway or one layer
cutaway and one layer poplin as underlay depending on the design.

Hi Anand,

What do you call normal garments, are they polos, chambray shirts etc.

If so, try the presser foot height at 1 or 2 clicks up, it may reduce
the thread break count even more.
