I just had a thought - do you use norton? I couldnt' get my mail in - finally, my isp had me disable the part in norton that checks the mail - so if you do, disable that and see what happens. The really goofy part of this is that it doesn't happen every time I send mail -- only sporadically. By the time I remember to contact the ISP -- they've gone home (LOL).
