NO.

They would LOSE the lucrative deals that they have today, which 
forced the cable companies to collect subscriber fees for advertiser 
supported networks.

If you offer content for free (OTA) that cable and DBS subscribers 
are paying for, then you may have a difficult time getting these 
distributors to keep paying. And you risk losing a big part of your 
audience, if the cable and DBS companies drop those channels, forcing 
people to choose between an antenna or a multi-channel service.
