Actually, I already went through all of that. From
their other coverage contours, I reverse estimated a
HAAT of around 600'. But more importantly, I don't
think HAAT would have a huge effect at 12 to 14 miles,
for a station that is also serving customers out to
57 miles. Those two SFN towers have to be quite tall
to achieve the coverage they documented.

I will if you stop complaining about deficiencies,
using only known problematic equipment, and without
bothering to compare apples with apples.

Certainly we can assume that multipath is not an issue
in that Sterling VA location. But I'm not making any
assertions about multipath tolerance in his case. Mark
Schubin took care of that aspect already. We know it
can be addressed.

The Sterling location, instead, gives an idea of this
difference in long range capability. I find it sort
of astounding that someone gives you this data point,
reliable indoor reception at 50+ miles, and you happily
ignore it.

You might have a point, possibly, if you were to have
argued that solving the multipath tolerance problem
would simultaneously limit the sensitvity. It might,
but not if the receiver is designed well.
