Well, don't excuse yourself for replying.

Like I said before, please feel free to send me a private message with
a preferred user name. I can give you access to the current theme.
About setting up your own test site. I _think_ it might not be a good
idea to start having copies floating around of the data. The reason is
that it does contain sensitive material (privacy-wise).

I know I have done this, but in retrospect this is not a wise thing at
all. I should have sticked to the testsite on the webfaction accounts,
because we have to protect the privacy of our users.

Other thing: I think the website port should be a group effort, but
the current array of communication tools is inadequate. I have a list
of all the modules we need for drupal 5. I would like to publish this,
but I don't know where, since it is a potential security problem.
Security through obscurity, right :-). Now I'm a big fan of project
management tools, and I'd prefer to use basecamp
(http://www.basecamphq.com) to plan and execute this operation. But of
course, if there is a less drastic way of keeping our secrets, then
I'm all open for suggestions.

What is 'the' problem here?

Even with the 'print' button used?

Are you talking about 'screen layout' (how the screen is structured),
organizational layout (how the site is built up) or visual layout (how
the theme looks)?

The current website has been designed with the mindset of that the
audience we want to reach right now are developers (right, Jorge?). In
other words, our users are our developers. To that end, the website
has been designed to integrate all relevant content.

Now I envision a stage where we might get a developers.haiku-os.org
website, but not right now. I also don't think that it would be a good
idea to change the theme of the website based on the location you are
in at that point. Let's keep that for when we do an actual release.

Just my opinion, of course.
