Absolutely!  It's not worth owning an LCD monitor if your video card doesn't 
have at least one DVI port.  DVI to DVI keeps the video data in digital form 
throughout the entire process.  Interrupting that chain with an analog port 
forces the video card to convert the signal to analog before sending and 
then the monitor must convert the analog signal back to digital before 
displaying.  Two major conversions in real-time will not go unnoticed by 
your eyes.
