This is real BS. It is totally unrelated to the current Net Neutrality

Talk about nonsense. It's precisely the same thing. The telecom company, which 
is a local monopoly for most people, must be neutral as to what services are 
carried over its wires. For obvious reasons. Like just about any infrastructure 
company.

Not only did I watch the presentation Ron linked to, I have spent
several hours searching this topic and reading a number of white
papers on the subject.

Not enough, obviously. Massive MIMO, big improvement in bandwidth, perhaps FBMC 
modulation, very low latency. Not same-o same-o, using regular MIMO, LTE, 
macrocells. Those aspects that differentiate 5G are fairly incompatible with 
low frequencies, Craig. For example, massive MIMO involves beam forming, not 
just bouncing the propagation path off a few random obstacles.
