Sorry, I guess I can appreciate your frustration, but as a developer of
forms, I can also appreciate the frustration when folks try to trash a
form and I have to fix their mess.

I can only suggest you READ the form first and then pay attention to it
so you can fill it in properly without having to move answers from field
to field.<shrug>

Dian,

So, the only way to be able to copy/cut/paste text is to not use tables?
Or, can I simply leave it unprotected, and explain to her why it is that
way? This evening, I have talked to several other of our volunteers who
are as frustrated as I am with this situation--to the point where they
simply don't report in on the form. The form is simple enough that we
could easily do without being able to tab around a table. Only one
"incident" is allowed in a file...one date, one code descriptor and the
notes regarding the incident.

All I want is to be able to highlight a sentence or block of text and
copy it, or delete it, or move it to another place in the document. You
know--the kind of thing any old word processor will do? Even email
programs let you do this. I would probably never want to type the same
sentence more than one time in the same document.

Unless our coordinator can figure out a way to make it easier for us to
report, it may be the end of my volunteering with this group. That's
about how frustrating this has become for me. Retyping and playing with
forms is not what I signed up to do!
