Sorry, then I don't know what to tell you cos' that's how it works in my
2000 and XP. All I can then suggest is that the designers do a better
job of creating the form so repetitive copying isn't required, or you
can use the method I explained before...type it in a new doc and copy it
from there into each field.

Using Word 2000 9.0.3821 SR-1
Yes, the document was open when I checked. I also locked and unlocked
it a couple of times and checked. There are no boxes checked.
