i can provide the list to anyone who wants to set up the poll. since i
anticipate only small number of voters, i was actually thinking i would
myself (manually) tally voters against list subscribers for validation.
- Have only one vote per list subscriber. First-cast vote counts.
fine with me. i am not setting up the poll, so whoever wants to setup the
poll note.
- Only allow subscribers who are active (a thumb rule like at least
one post in the last six months) to vote.
no, i dont agree with that. i know for a fact that there are some silent
members on the list who are far more knowledgeable than the regular
posters. and they have been on this list for years. their opinion does
matter.
- Not allow disciplined subscribers (people put on moderation etc. for
various reasons) to vote
not an issue. we have no such cases as of now.
