why? well, i am swayed by the interpretation of rfc2822 which states that
'When the "Reply-To:" field is present, it indicates the mailbox(es) to
which the author of the message suggests that replies be sent.'
I've checked with both and GNOME lists and LKML and they _DON'T_ do
reply-to munging. OTOH, YahooGroups seems to have reply-to munging and
various LUG's have their mailing list hosted on YahooGroups.
The above info is not an argument for munging of the reply-to header,
just my 0.02$
