if they did, i would have no problem. look over the archive yourself. some
of those against turning on reply-to munging are also active contributors

dont forget, this mailing list is hosted by said public sector (or even
worse, government!)
One suggestion, why dont you poll those 1500 people and ask them this
question: 'all those who want reply-to munging not to be implemented,
please reply, failing which it will be turned on'. Would you be willing
to abide by the decision of the silent majority then?
fine with me. i was going to suggest a poll in any case and i am not
particular about how it is worded. i dont have polling ready to go on this
server (or any of the servers i have ready accees to), but we do have it
on our chennailug.org site, i think (?). if anyone on the list sets up the
poll and returns the results to me, i will abide by it. we should agree on
a minimum voter turnout - say, 5% (that would be 72 as of now). so, go on,
set the poll and tell me what to do.
please try to understand why i cannot take action based on twenty vocal
opinions in a group of 1500.
