Jorge is terrific to work with when he agrees with you!

But, when he disagrees, he becomes very difficult to handle. He attacks,
argues and fights with many emails and forum posts! Pushing people's buttons
and causing people to get upset and frustrated. He is relentless in getting
his way no matter what.

He has only fought with a few people so not everyone sees this other side to
him. Jorge is like Jekyll and Mr. Hyde. When you agree with Jorge, he is like
the greatest person to work with but disagree and then he turns on you and
gives you a really hard time.

Some people might be able to ignore him but others won't. His fighting has
turned off people and they have left or will leave later on.

I would not be surprised if any developers or contributors left Haiku because
of fighting with Jorge.

Most only see Jorge's nice side and cannot understand until they disagree with
him and get into a heated debated with Jorge. Only then can you really
understand why some strongly feel to ban him!!!

Jorge has trouble staying cool, calm and in control. He takes things very
personally and attacks with full force when he thinks people are against him.
The arguing gets very intense and heated - not a fun or enjoyable experience!
Leaves you with an unhappy and bad feeling afterwards!!!

I believe the ban is only for mailing lists, Haiku IRC channel and any contact
with Haiku Inc.

To some, banning may sound like extreme course of action but the only way to
really ensure Jorge's negativity does not affect others in the Haiku community.
Maybe a one year ban would be enough to let things cool off?

Jorge has an obsessive-compulsive personality and the reason why he stays very
active in Haiku! Also why he feels very strongly about certain things
regarding Haiku and why he will fight with other people about these. It is
because Jorge takes things very personally and has really strong feelings about
Haiku that makes it hard to deal with him when there is a disagreement!!!
