I think that will mark the fourth time that Jorge has sent such a message, and so far he has been back every time. That is why the original banning thread never reached a conclusion, as he said there was no need for any further action as he would remove himself from the community: //www.freelists.org/post/haiku-development/Banning-Jorge-G-Mare,30 IMHO that message justifies the NOPOST action that Humdinger was concerned about - I looked it up as I shared some of his concerns. > The biggest impact with him leaving is for us japanese / japan based haiku > users. maybe somebody will step in his boots here, we dont know. whatever. As a project Haiku should certainly engage more with the localised communities. However I'm worried that Jorge is seen by some of them as a bridge to the official project when in reality he is anything but. In fact one of his most recent posts is directly threatening and clearly shows intent to cause disruption to the project: //www.freelists.org/post/haiku-commits/r39105-haikutrunksrcappsshowimage,30 "Now, what you do not know is that the more stuff like this you do, the more I feel compelled to expose the ways of the Haiku clique. Sooner or later, you will all be hearing from me again. Bye!" I would therefore advise any members of localised communities wanting support from the project to seek it directly through these mailing lists, rather than through Jorge. As to what our response should be - just avoiding the debates seems like the only option, but we probably just have to accept they will continue to crop up. Simon
