Good questions, but we are seeing more power and processor power every day. I am no engineer, but any idea starts with a dream. A netbook certainly has tons more processing power than a Braille Note or a Pakmate. I thought of operating the machine for GPS by voice, so you could run it with the lid closed. Imagine if it were pheasible! Looking up a restaurant, linking to it's web page automatically, and downloading its menu, and opening it to read. All done automatically, since the GPS data would give plenty of information that could automatically link to the web page etc. 100 GB of onboard storage! The only draw backs I can see, is the boot up time, and making the netbook physically sturdy enough. As far as the boot time, counting the number of times I have to reset my Apex, that wouldn't be a big loss. For $5,700 in savings, I can adjust.
