Sendero will but one can only do what one can.

Keith,

I am in similar straits as you in that my new Voice Sense with Sense Nav has
been here about a week and a half. However, Sendero Group has been around
for quite some time, and I do trust them to get the best they can for us
when and if that becomes necessary to keep their product operational on this equipment. I also feel that the Voice Sense has been reliable so far and am
trusting that it will run the GPS programming well. I, to, am concerned
about the situation because I have had disturbing experiences with companies
not connected somehow with something in the States. We will have to simply
wait and see how this all plays out and hope that Hims will continue to do
good work on the equipment we have.

Subject: [gps-talkusers] A Concerned Sense Nav Customer

Hello,

As the owner of a Voice Sense, and a recent purchaser of
GW Sense Navigation, I was disturbed and shocked to learn of the parting
of ways between GW Micro and HIMS today. Especially when you consider
that I purchased Sense Nav only two days ago, and wasn't informed of
what was to occur only two days later. Had I known, I can assure
everyone that I would have had reservations. In fact, I am seriously
considering returning Sense Nav, for I feel the future of HIMS
products may very well be on shaky ground now.

As for Sense Nav, I have the following questions:

   1. Exactly who will be responsible for any updates in the
future?

   2. As someone who has just paid over $1,500 for this product a mere
48 hours ago, I believe I have a right to be very concerned.

   3. Exactly how much is known about this Hims United States office?

   4. Who will be working there?

   5. Is it merely a sales or distribution hub, or will they be
performing repairs on the various HIMS products?

   6. It took three years, from 2007 until the present time for the
GPS in the Sense notakers to get updated. And with GW Micro not
being connected with these products any longer, is there any reason to
believe that there will be updates any time in the near future?

As I said earlier, I'm not happy about purchasing Sense Nav 48 hours
ago and hearing this news today.
