Re lists.

In producing braille for North American readers, this isn't a matter
of opinion, but rather a rule.

I find that interesting. Is there no semantic information to be gained
through knowing
that a particular sequence of items is presented as a list, rather than a
series
of paragraphs?

I can't think of one right away, but I feel there might be.
