I kinda guessed that was the answer and started making changes as soon 
as I sent that message.  Uninstalled a couple of items, re-did the 
folders for Program files, common files and temp files and then 
re-installed a couple of items.

Note:  AVG Internet Security Suite defaults to C:\Program Files (x86) 
even after the fix was done in the registry.  MS OFffice defaulted to 
the new location.

Tomorrow I tackle the rest of the move.

So far everything is pretty much the same in Vista as in XP.
